Sunny Day Café

Myself and my family were down in Campbell River about 7 weeks ago visiting my grandparents. They’re still able to get around but it takes some time so we asked what they’d like to do for lunch, they raved about this local cafe they always go to. As soon as we walked in the waitress recognized them and we talked for a few minutes before ordering. The food was delicious, service was excellent but most importantly all of the staff were extremely friendly and gracious throughout. Comfortable warm atmosphere, highly recommend.

They deserve a 10-star review!People working here are amazing! They are nice, smiley, chatting with you. And, plus, all the foods I tasted were delicious and great in size! I went there for breakfast and lunch in different days. I wish I live close by and can go again. Please visit here and see this lovely place.

We stopped here on our way back from Quadra Island. It was such amazing food and the service was awesome. 10/10 wish they were in Victoria I would be stopping by weekly! Very sweet people and the restaurant was so clean and food was fresh and tasted amazing. They made us virgin mojitos and we were really impressed.

This is a diamond in the rough. Just passing through town and so glad we found this little gem for all-day breakfast. The food was amazing (my son says the best eggs benny ever) and the most delicious pancakes! The staff were very nice and friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. We would definitely come back if we're in the area and highly recommend it for a great meal!

Delicious food, clean atmosphere, great service! I had the German pancake with turkey bacon and it was amazing! This lovely little restaurant is fast becoming a go-to for our Sunday brunch crowd. They are super obliging, and are happy to accept a brunch reservation where so many other places won’t. The food is excellent, particularly their Filipino dishes and anything made with their delicious homemade bread. The chicken and coconut soup is excellent, a half sandwich is more than a typical whole sandwich thanks to the generous portions, and the service is friendly and efficient. We will definitely be going back again.

Amazing service and food! The staff are so friendly here, and the food is really good. Pretty sure it’s family run, which makes it even better. The French toast was the best I have had, and the potatoes they serve with the breakfasts are really nice too. If you’re in Campbell River, this spot is a must try for good breakfast.
